Light Party

Join Towner’s learning team for a family party in the gallery.

Expect fun workshops for all ages with creative activities including an immersive installation build where you can create sculptures with artist Hermione Allsopp.

Get ready to party at our florescent dress up station organised by Brighton based costumiers Glad Rags where you can make your own accessories and essential rave gear. There will also be face painting, VJs, live music by Brighton electro-psych duo Native Ray, party food, glow sticks, giveaways and of course a photo booth where you can capture all your Light Party memories.

And don’t forget to take an adventure through light with a visit to our current exhibition A Certain Kind of Light which features work by Anish Kapoor, Rachel Whiteread, David Batchelor and Cerith Wyn Evans.

With plenty to do for families along the East Sussex coast, the Coastal Cultural trail is great for a weekend away with the kids.
